PHOENIX, AZ November 14, 2011 – Symbius Medical a leading provider in home medical supplies to customers nationwide promotes Paul Vadovicky to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Jason Hermanson to Controller.
Paul Vadovicky was promoted from Controller to CFO and Jason Hermanson to Controller following the annual Symbius Medical Board of Directors meeting in Sedona, AZ. Mr. Vadovicky had been serving as interim CFO and as Controller since June 2010. Mr. Hermanson started with Symbius Medical this past January as the Director of Financial Reporting before receiving his promotion.
Prior to joining Symbius Medical, Mr. Vadovicky was a Principal Consultant and business development associate with Tatum, LLC, a national executive consulting firm. During his career, Mr. Vadovicky also performed CFO, Controllership and consulting functions for both publicly-held and private companies in several industries including public utilities, manufacturing, construction, personal services, business services, banking-finance, transportation and distribution. He began his career with a large multi-national public accounting firm.

Controller, Jason Hermanson is a seasoned financial professional and CPA with over 10 years in business and accounting management in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Hermanson manages the daily financial operations and reporting at Symbius Medical. “Mr. Hermanson’s experience, knowledge and personal approach has been a welcome addition to our finance team,” said Dwight Knox, President at Symbius Medical.
Before joining Symbius Medical, Mr. Hermanson worked for his own consulting group which provided a wide range of financial services with a focus on high-level accounting and advisory services. Prior to that, he has served as Corporate Controller for Desert Troon Companies where he oversaw operations for 1.6 million square feet of commercial and retail properties, prepared financials, managed a balance sheet with over $600 million in assets and supervised the property management department in addition to managing accounting department.
Mr. Vadovicky holds both a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University. Mr. Hermanson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Arizona State University.
