PHOENIX, AZ May 10, 2011– Symbius Medical a leading provider in home medical supplies to customers nationwide held its second annual sales conference and awards gala at the Renaissance Glendale Hotel & Spa in Glendale, Arizona. Keynote speaker, Robert Van Arlen led a three-day fully packed agenda including product education and demonstrations with various breakout sessions for our urological, respiratory and rehab sales teams as well as an open panel discussion with clinical experts from Banner Pediatric
Specialists, Mayo Hospital, Valley Sleep Center and Archstone Rehab. President, Dwight Knox kicked off the conference by presenting each sales team member with an Apple iPad-2 as Symbius Medical launched its “Let Get Clinical” strategy and embraced the
launch of social networking for the organization. “I am very excited as we move forward with today’s cutting edge technology and being able to share information in real time with our referral sources and customers about the products and services we offer” said Dwight Knox, President at Symbius Medical. “It is an investment that shows the level of commitment to our sales team by
giving them the best tools possible to communicate and educate our referral sources and our customers.”
During the awards gala Territory Managers Marvelyn Stubbs and Mark Heitz, received Sales Achievement of the Year and Michael Neilson, Territory Manager received Rookie of the Year. The highlight of the awards ceremony came with the induction into the 2010 President’s Club for Melissa Avilez, Director of Sales and Gary Hershey, Vice President of Urological Sales, and Territory Managers Arianna Mueller and Antonio Avilez. Each President Club member received an all expense paid trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The conclusion of the sales conference was held at the Symbius Medical headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona here the sales team interacted with each department and participated in various team building activities. “I have received so much positive feedback from our sales teams,” said Gary Hershey, VP of Urological Sales, “They are energized and excited to get back into their home territories with their new iPads and create new social networks.”
