When Marlene Lovitt’s wheel chair was stolen from outside the home she shares with sister Darlene, a Good Samaritan stepped forward to lend a hand. The chair, which had been set out to dry after being washed earlier in the day, was a custom-fit and manufactured model, which will cost approximately $5000 to replace.
Dan Clemente, a peer coach with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, loaned the sisters a chair from the Arizona Spinal Cord Injury Association. Symbius Medical serviced and prepared the loaner chair for Marlene’s use.
