Symbius Medical Goes Clinical

Symbius Medical has begun to take a more clinical approach to home care by not only dropping off the product at the home, but also by delivering clinical education and clinical outcomes to their customers. The company believes that the education that they provide to their customers will help them better understand the products they are using, allowing them to be more compliant with the doctors instructions, as well as rely less on the doctor and their staff to help them with the product. Symbius hopes to decrease some of those non‑compensated activities for physicians by giving good clinical care and education.

Symbius Medical employs licensed respiratory therapists or licensed professionals to help their clients with their medical supplies. They also have nurses that are used to help patients with more complicated products such as negative wound therapy. All of Symbius’s employees have been thoroughly trained on the products that they are using and are fully capable of understanding how the products work, how to set them up and take them down, as well as troubleshoot them for any unexpected problems.

In the instance that a customer has a problem with a device that they are using, Symbius Medical also offers their customers a 24 hour call center, where people can call in and talk to a technician about the problems that they are experiencing. The customer support is available 7 days a week to answer any questions that may arise, and in the instance that a physician cannot be reached, this prevents any unnecessary trips to the doctors, or agony that may result from the misuse of a product.
